We cordially invite you to the workshop titled “Practices of Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance, and the Application of Innovative Environmental Impact Assessment Tools for Buildings.” This workshop is organized as part of the CHESS project – Change Hubs for Ecosystemic Social Solutions. The workshop will take place on Monday, October 2nd, from 17:00 to 20:30 in the Library Hall of the National Center for Research and Technological Development, located at 6th km Harilaou-Thermi Road, Thessaloniki.
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn about best practices in Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance, as well as the application of technological solutions for assessing the environmental and economic lifecycle of energy systems in buildings or districts (cities). This analysis will involve multiple forms of energy (e.g., electricity, cooling, heating) using the online platform VERIFY. Furthermore, VERIFY, with its specialized investment planning tool, offers the capability to analyze investment scenarios for energy upgrading of buildings or urban districts. These scenarios may include various energy technologies aimed at improving the environmental and energy sustainability of the building or city.
