P5 INNOBROKER sets the goal to further develop, accelerate, deploy, validate and demonstrate a self-sustainable EU-wide B2G Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) brokerage service ecosystem-based business model and platform (Innobroker) for mobilizing and bringing together early adopter public buyers and leading-edge EU SMEs and start-ups as well as to pave the way for the implementation of an effective, collaborative/coordinated set of transnational SMEs/start-up-oriented PPI bids through a Public-Private Partnership PPI Facilitator Business Model (P5 Innovation Procurement broker).
CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY HELLAS (CERTH) as a partner of the P5 INNOBROKER project, plays the role of the broker, providing technical assistance to the Waste Management Company of Western Macedonia (DIADYMA S.A. – contracting authority). In the above context, CERTH will focus on your experiences with various tools that make up an innovative and sustainable solution for the valorization of spent coffee grounds into biobased products.
To proceed with a Preliminary Consultation with the Market of the coffee waste utilization sector at an European level, CERTH invites all interested parties (chambers of commerce, business consultants, universities, SMEs and start-ups) operating in this sector, to respond to the following Request for Information.
- The scope of this consultation is to get insight on the following issues:
- What is currently available on the market (state of the art);
- What are the current developments and their maturity levels;
- Whether the obstacles faced by the Users can be addressed with these developments;
- Whether the market companies are available to exploit some kind of partnership, when incapable of responding themselves to the full range of solutions requested for the Valorization of a specific waste stream: Spent Coffee Grounds (SCGs) from HORECA.
